Stand directly in front of the glass — keep the camera centred with the window or door, not angled from the side.
Hold your phone straight and level — do not tilt it upward, downward, left or right.
Keep the full glass area in the photo — include all four corners and a small section of the surrounding frame.
Step back instead of using wide-angle mode — avoid 0.5× zoom, as it can distort the shape of the glass.
Use good, even lighting — avoid strong glare, direct sunlight, reflections or a very dark room.
Keep the glass clear and visible — move curtains, blinds, furniture or objects that block the edges.
Check that the glass looks square — the top and bottom edges should appear horizontal, and the side edges should appear vertical.
Hold the phone steady — make sure the photograph is sharp and not blurred.
